Dr. Eileen Dano Calamia

Dr. Eileen Dano Calamia is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who believes in establishing good, healthy oral hygiene habits at a very young age. Not only does she focus on providing a fun and caring atmosphere for a child during their dental visits, but she also highly values educating parents and soon to be parents about a well balanced diet and preventative care.

Dr. Calamia grew up in Orange County, California with her parents and two siblings. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Irvine and then pursued her dreams of becoming a dentist at the New York University College of Dentistry.

Upon graduating from dental school, she expanded her training by attending a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey where she received an award for her outstanding dedication as a general resident. Dr. Calamia realized that her passion lies in making sure that children learned the importance of good oral health at a very young age. She then completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she served as chief resident. Her goals are to make dental visits fun and educational for both parents and their children while addressing their dental needs.

Dr. Calamia currently lives in Long Island with her husband, Dr. Vincent Calamia, a general dentist practicing in NYC and Massapequa, NY, and their two daughters, Vienna and Gianna. On her spare time, Dr. Calamia enjoys Bikram Yoga, cooking, watching movies, and exploring new places with her family!


Dr. Cristina B. Georgescu

“Dr. Cristina” as she is known by her patients and their parents is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.

She was born in Romania and spent a year in Austria before calling Fresh Meadows, Queens her permanent home. She received her B.S. in Biology from St. John’s University in 2002 and attended Columbia University School of Dental Medicine to fulfill her dream of becoming a dentist. After receiving her D.D.S. from Columbia University, she completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center.

As a young child, Dr. Cristina did not have access to proper dental care which resulted in numerous procedures and visits to the dentist. Experiencing first-hand the stress and anxiety of these visits but having compassionate and knowledgeable dental providers, Dr. Cristina decided to pursue her dream and become a pediatric dentist. She attended Stony Brook University for her Pediatric Dental residency and completed her program in 2015 where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Cristina has enjoyed doing outreach missions with a Cleft, Lip and Palate team to help underserved children restore their confidence and smiles. She has also enjoyed speaking and educating children and parents about the importance of good oral health at local schools, library events and fairs in and around Westchester.

Dr. Cristina feels truly blessed for her tiny miracle who decided to arrive into this world 10 weeks earlier in July 2020. She loves taking him to the park and watching him develop and grow into a fun-loving little man!


Dr. Noreen Doherty

Dr. Noreen Doherty is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who believes that education and prevention are key in establishing life-long, healthy oral hygiene practices. During each dental visit, she strives to create a caring and compassionate experience for her patients and their families.

Dr. Noreen grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received her Bachelor’s degree at Fordham University. Following college, Dr. Noreen continued her education at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine where pursued her dream of becoming a dentist. She then went on to complete a 2-year residency at Stony Brook University where she specialized in Pediatric Dentistry.

Whether speaking to children about their favorite cartoon characters, their hobbies, or their plans for the future, she believes that it is important to relate with children in order to create a warm and inviting environment in which to provide the best care possible in a fun, safe, and nurturing manner.

Dr. Noreen is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an avid runner who enjoys spending time exploring upstate New York and checking out the many restaurants/cafes of NYC with her family and friends.


Dr. Kathleen Gonzales

Dr. Kathleen Gonzales otherwise known as “Dr. Kat,” has always wanted to be a dentist since she was 13 years old! She decided to go into pediatric dentistry specifically because she felt that she could make the biggest difference for people, if she helped them at a young age. She strives to give quality care to her patients and always advocating for the best treatment for them. She loves helping patients work through every procedure and encouraging them to believe in themselves.

Dr. Kat is originally from Westchester County. She attended Binghamton University where she studied cell and molecular biology. She then received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo. After finishing multiple degrees in upstate New York, she moved back downstate to Long Island to complete her pediatric dentistry training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center/Long Island Jewish Hospital, where she served as chief resident.

She is very passionate about giving back to underserved communities. She has gone to many events in her local dental society, Knoxville, Tennessee and even trips abroad in Trinidad and Tobago and Guatemala to serve those in need. It’s the one of the many reasons she loves dentistry so much because she enjoys helping others. She looks forward to many mission trips in the future!

She currently resides in Stamford with her husband, Adam and fur baby, Penny. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, cooking, running, hiking, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills!


Dr. Julianna Bair

Julianna Bair, DMD, is a dual board certified pediatric dentist and endodontist, dedicated to providing individualized and quality care to patients in New York City.

Dr. Bair grew up in Livingston, New Jersey, and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in molecular biology/biochemistry and Spanish literature. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She then went on to complete a general practice residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University, and a pediatric dental residency program at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn. 

As a pediatric specialist, Dr. Bair saw a need for herself to learn more about endodontics. This passion led her to complete a residency program in endodontics at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. As a dual specialist at an endodontic practice, Dr. Bair delivers the highest quality care with that extra gentle touch of a pediatric dentist. 

In her free time, she enjoys jogging, skiing, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends. She is also fluent in Mandarin.


Dr. Cherie Walsh

Dr. Cherie Walsh is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.

Originally from Westchester County, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Binghamton University and completed her dental degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. After completing a General Dentistry Residency at Interfaith Medical Center, she moved to South Carolina working as a Dentist in Sumter. It was there where her love for treating kids grew, leading her to return to New York to pursue training as a Pediatric Dentist at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is an active member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentists as well as the New York State Dental Association and National Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Walsh is an Attending Dentist at Mount Sinai Hospital where she spends time teaching and training residents in the Pediatric Dental Residency program.

Based on her own great experiences at the dental office as a child, Dr. Walsh seeks to make every visit to the dentist educational, gentle, and fun! Her goal is to provide quality care to her young patients; while making every patient feel comfortable in the chair, and helping every patient and parent learn the skills to establish good oral health habits. 

Dr. Walsh now calls Brooklyn home, and when not practicing dentistry, she is most likely to be found at a Broadway show. concert or exploring the city with her French bulldog, Atticus.


Dr. Ashleigh Alex

Dr. Ashleigh Alex is a 3rd generation dentist originally from Long Island. Prior to dental school, Dr. Alex attended College of the Holy Cross and graduated with a degree in Biology. After college, she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Gastrointestinal Oncology.

She obtained her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Alex has a passion for research and while at Columbia won several awards including the prestigious Dr. Milton Schlesinger Award for Excellence in Research. After dental school, Dr. Alex decided to further her expertise in the craniofacial and dental fields and pursued a specialty in Orthodontics. She completed a three-year residency in Orthodontics and also received a Master of Science degree from Columbia University.

Dr. Alex is proficient in multiple treatment modalities and is committed to delivering high-quality individualized orthodontic care to her patients. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. In her free time, Dr. Alex enjoys traveling with her husband Tyler and taking yoga classes.
